Olin Parker

2017 Fellow

Olin G. Parker began working in education in Louisiana in 2007 and is a graduate of Hofstra University and the Harvard Kennedy School. He is now in his fifth year at the Louisiana Department of Education, where he leads support and accountability efforts for charter and nonpublic schools across the state. In addition to his work at the Department, Olin is on the vestry at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, chair of the Mid-City Neighborhood Organization, a member of the KIPP Believe Primary Parent-Teacher Organization, and proud assistant soccer coach for his three children under the age of seven.
